Responsibilities:
- Providing technical assessment of customer applications in pre-sales and technical support in post-sales situations.
- Work closely with the sales team, be sensitive to sales situations, able to quickly analyze a technical problem through customer’s sample evaluations, recommend and implement a solution to meet the customers’ requirements, able to deliver effective presentation and demonstration of technical solutions to both large and small technical and non-technical audiences.
- Other responsibilities include: preparing software and hardware to demonstrate Cognex’s system capabilities during Trade Shows, preparing and conducting technical seminar presentation, and supporting beta customers.
- Provide front-line technical support. Interface and coordinate with technical support group to meet customers’ satisfaction.
- Conduct Product training courses in both English and Chinese to customers.
- This position requires almost 15-25% cross-region travel time, any candidate should be willing to travel at short notice.

Qualifications:

Education :
1. BS or MS in an engineering field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of optics and lighting is of benefit.

Languages : Bilingual Chinese/English is mandatory.

Professional Experience :
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position in factory automation is required. Previous experience with machine vision or image processing systems is of benefit. Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages : VB, VB.Net, C”.Net, VC++.
2. Understanding of the PC and networking environment is an absolute must.

1. The uppermost qualification is a working attitude of devoting to achieving team goal, and to helping customer to solve their problem in a timely and satisfactory manner.
2. Candidate should have: good communication, interpersonal, technical, organizational and presentation skills, good analytical and problem solving skills.

1. 本科以上學(xué)歷，計(jì)算機(jī)、電氣工程、機(jī)械工程、光學(xué)專業(yè)，光學(xué)或照明專業(yè)知識(shí)者優(yōu)先考慮
2. 中英文良好
3. 2年以上工業(yè)自動(dòng)化行業(yè)相關(guān)經(jīng)驗(yàn)，有視覺或圖像處理系統(tǒng)經(jīng)驗(yàn)者優(yōu)先考慮
4. 熟悉VB、VB.Net、C”.Net或VC++，精通計(jì)算機(jī)及網(wǎng)絡(luò)技術(shù)
5. 有很強(qiáng)的服務(wù)意識(shí)，擅長(zhǎng)與客戶交流溝通解決應(yīng)用中的實(shí)際問題
